VALDEZ BED AND
BREAKFAST GUIDE
There are many excellent Bed and Breakfast Establishments
in Valdez. Bed and Breakfast lodging provides an alternative to the motel/hotel room for
many travelers. Bed and Breakfast rates are a better value than motels in
Valdez. The City of Valdez requires all Bed and Breakfast establishments to be licensed
and safety inspected. The Bed and Breakfast establishments we use are the cream of
Alaska’s little Switzerland, Valdez, and offer the traveler a respite from the busy
travel schedule of an Alaskan vacation. All include a private room and breakfast.
Some have shared baths but many offer private baths in the room. Most are
easy to find and within walking distance to the shopping and tour areas of Valdez.
Rates vary from the harbor area $75 up to $160 per night double
occupancy.
HOTELS AND MOTELS
Valdez
offers a choice of 5 Hotels and 2 Motels to serve its travelers.
Each is very clean and holds its own ambience! Some have a
continental breakfast included in the cost, others have restaurants on
the premise. We can even offer our young travelers a hotel with an
indoor, heated swimming pool.
CABINS
Cabins are becoming a very popular choice among Valdez travelers.
These cabins include a mini kitchen, bathroom and different arrangements
or bedding from bunks to doubles. We can arrange a cabin for you in
town, out of town, or in the remote area of Thompson Pass.
